Support Yeshiva Without Spending a Penny!

And save money too!

Lev Tmimim participates in a program that brings in a steady stream of income while lowering the utility bills for our families.  Third party electric and gas suppliers can potentially save hundreds of dollars a year for the average family, and thousands of dollars for businesses.

Since this is a win-win scenario, with no risk and benefit to all parties, we require all parents who register their son to Yeshiva to participate in the program, unless they are ineligible, or have an overriding reason not to (such as a requirement by a parent’s employer to participate via the employer, or if Stream service is not available in your area, or other valid reason, or in the unlikely event that your current rates are already lower).

Participation is very simple.  When submitting your tuition contract, you will send a copy of your most recent utility bill to the office, and within a couple of days you will be notified of the rates that you are eligible for.  If the rates are lower than your current rates then the office will set up your new provider.

There is no risk, no change of your service, not wires or pipe changes or any other issues or affect of your service.  you will simply see on your following month’s bill a new lower rate.  It’s that simple.

The program is currently available in the following states: NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, TX, GA, IL, OH, DC.

Please understand that without sufficient funds we are forced to raise the already almost unbearable tuition to our families.  As such we work very hard to find ways to take as much of the burden off of you via other streams of income that do not harm the families.  We request that you respect this and help us achieve this. It is for your direct benefit.

FAQ:

Who is the third party provider that Yeshiva is working with?  Are they reliable?

Our provider is called Stream and is reputable provider that has been in the market for over 14 years and is already providing service to many of Lev Tmimim’s families and businesses.  We have saved thousands of dollars for our families.

For more info, you may visit the Yeshiva’s provider page here. You can even check your own rates right now to see how much you’ll save.

Will I need to let any technicians into my house?

Not at all.  There is no actual physical change.  The only change happening is a “paper change”.  Your electric service will continue to be provided by the utility company in your area (ConEd, PECO, O&R, etc) and any servicing will still be handled by them if anything ever comes up.  The only chane is a billing one.  You will still receive the same bill from your utility company, but it will state that your billing is through Stream and the rates will be lower rates.

What's the catch? If this really lowers our bills, then why doesn't everyone do it?

There is no catch.  The only reason not everyone is doing it, is that they simply don’t know.  The government has deregulated the energy market to allow for competition so that customers aren’t forced to get their utilities only from the local provider.

Unfortunatly,  there are illegitimate compaines out there who have “Slammed” customers – i.e. switched them without their consent, which has gien some people a mistaken undertanding.  The reality is that if you find a provider with lower rates and choose to switch, then it is a very wise decision and will only save you money.

Before being switched to Stream, you will receive a phone call from the provider to confirm that you are giving consent and nothing is being done without your knowledge.

I already have a third party supplier.  Why should I switch?

2 reasons:

1.  You may still be saving money by switching.  We will only show you the new rate and then once you see it is lower, and only if it is lower, do you need to switch.  If you are already getting the best rate, then you do not have to switch.

2.  Even if you don’t mind paying more on your utility bill, we still require you to switch because there is no loss to you, and only a benefit to Yeshiva.  We are here working hard for the best success for your son, and we expect you to do whatever you can to support this – especially if there is no loss to you.

Note that if your current provider charges an early termination fee, Stream will pay that fee, so there is no cost to you.

How long does the change take?

Once you send us a copy of your bill, we will get back to you – usually within minutes to hours – and tell you if the Stream rates are lower than yours.  Then we get your confirmation and sign you up.  The change takes about 90 seconds.  You wil receive the new bill within a few weeks showing the lower rate.
